THE HISTORY OF NEW HOPE
New Hope United Methodist Church got it's name from Pastor Arlie Persell several years ago. Formerly Otterbein UMC, the Great Plains Conference granted permission to do so. Pastor Arlie was in search of a more Contemporary Worship Leader, and after trying out several others he found one in Chuck Higgins who is now the Pastor of New Hope UMC. Seeking the Face and the Heart of the Father, there
became a lifestyle of worship for those at New Hope. He is continuing to draw hearts to himself and raise up leaders. Many have answered His calling and have come alongside Pastor Chuck and the staff in this movement of the Holy Spirit that is awakening hearts and energizing revivalists.
